October has truly been a wonderful month filled with joy, laughter, and heartfelt moments here at The Cottages of Texarkana. We've loved celebrating monumental birthdays for our residents and embracing the fall season together with our community.
We were honored to celebrate one of our most cherished residents, Ms. N, on her 95th birthday earlier this month. Surrounded by loving family and friends, Ms. N was showered with affection and surprised with a stunning floral cake that was as beautiful and vibrant as she is. Her milestone birthday was a touching reminder of the rich lives and stories that fill our community.
In addition to this special celebration, our annual Fall Harvest Festival was a resounding success. The event brought together residents, families, and community members for a day of festive fun and connection. From unicorn horseback rides to face painting, bounce houses, and games with prizes, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Our elders and guests indulged in seasonal treats like caramel apples, homemade popcorn balls, and a delightful assortment of candies. The smiles, laughter, and shared memories made this event truly unforgettable.
