At The Cottages at Texarkana, we are constantly reminded of the incredible community that surrounds us—and this month was no exception. Thanks to the generosity and care of Keep Texarkana Beautiful and the Texarkana Community Gardeners Coalition, our residents were given a beautiful opportunity to connect with nature and each other.
Keep Texarkana Beautiful graciously donated lovely flower beds, while the Community Gardeners Coalition provided rich soil and vibrant plants. With their help, our elders were able to get their hands in the dirt and plant flowers that now brighten our grounds and spirits alike.
This initiative has brought more than just beauty to our campus—it has sparked joy, pride, and a renewed sense of purpose among our residents. Watching them nurture these plants and see them flourish has been a powerful reminder of the healing and happiness that comes from being part of something meaningful.
